WITH THIS GOOD WITCH
~ HAPPY HALLOWEEN ~
The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

What a fun party idea.
ReplyDeleteOur little lane had a Halloween party last Saturday night. Steve went as a chicken and since the theme was couples, I was Colonel Sanders. And for food we did a burrito bar - easy for everyone.
Of course, the decorations were not as lovely as yours.
You are so well outfitted! It's fun just looking. And your treats are making me hungry. I got such a lovely visit from you! Made my day. Fun Halloween!

My goodness, you really celebrated Halloween in style. We don't really celebrate it much here in New Zealand, but this almost makes me a bit jealous.
ReplyDeleteStopping by to check on you and your mom.

Oh my! What fun! I am always impressed with the detail and work families put into Halloween! I grew up with basically NO Halloween celebration so seeing all the décor and recipes and fun is great. Sarah dearest, THANK YOU for coming to visit me! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful November so far! Our winds have stripped the trees bare today, and SNOW is in the forecast already for Tuesday night!
ReplyDeleteLove your many vignettes as well as your elegant witch's costume. Bet the little trick and treaters were thrilled.
ReplyDeleteJoy
You have so much fun with Halloween, Sarah! I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh how gorgeous dear Sarah...boy, I almost missed this, I love Halloween! Your witches are so cute, specially the big one! Such fun characters. My daughter goes all the way like you, even with the haunted house made up in the garaje for her Little ones and little friends. My mom in NYC didn't do any decor herself, except for the door, but we kids went Trick'o'treating in customs with friends and loved it! Thanks for visiting me sweetie.
