RABBIT, RABBIT!
Welcome 2020 ~ A New Decade
~ January 1, 2020 ~
We pop the cork on our favorite bubbly!
2020 ~ We wish for a healthy year ahead,
continued cherished times with family and friends,
and the completition of our remodel project.
And I wish each of you, my readers,
a healthy, prosperous year ahead!
Cheers to each of you, or
as we say in Texas,
Cheers Y'all!
Sarah
The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

What a beautiful New Year's vignette Sarah! I have always enjoyed spending a quiet New Year's Eve at home, I can't even imagine the people who go to NYC Times Square and are in those metal corrals like cattle for hours! Those decorated cookies are too adorable! I hope all your New Year's wishes come true! ❤️
ReplyDeleteJenna
A beautiful tablescape Sarah. Cheers to you, the chef, and Sadie! Here's to a fabulous 2020! It's hard to believe that we're 20 years into this century!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years Sarah! Everything looks fabulous! Yes I remember the craziness of Y2K! We were off to Hawaii with our kids and everyone thought we should stay home! I told them that if the power went out, I would much rather be on a beach in Hawaii than at home in the snow! Glad nothing like that happened. It has been a wonderful 20 years with amazing family accomplishments and events. Hope the next 20 is as great. Glad the two of you had a peaceful New Years.
ReplyDeleteSarah! Cielo is back open in Santa fe!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!
Marlis
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Sarah! I love your beautiful setting for your party for two! New Year's Eve is the one night I enjoy staying in....we've always done that!
ReplyDeleteI remember the Y2K fears. I can remember we invited my best friend from HS and her family over, and their children and ours (aged 3 - 10) played with noise makers and all the fun things....
I must confess my favorite is the Cheers y'all cookie! :D
xo,
RJ
