Bunny, Bunny, Bunny

I set a new table this week.

A pretend breakfast table for
my darling great nieces.

Last year after Easter, when everything was on lock down,
I had to stop in a neighborhood store to pick up some essentials.
My eyes immediately saw these darling bunny eggs.

If you know me, you know I'm all about checks.
I knew these would set a fun table for the little girls,
and I already had gingham plates and napkins.

This spring I picked up a pair of these
black and white cereal bowls at Home Goods.
What can I say?  They are black and white!

I started with Hester and Cook's paper gingham runner
topped with their giant Easter egg placemats.
Next I layered MacKenzie-Childs Taylor Brighton Pavilion
plates, and topped each with gingham plates from Michaels.
I've had the gingham napkins for years, and the darling
glittered bunny napkin rings were a gift from may dear friend

I planted a garden of mini daffodil bulbs in our antique
French faience cachepot with Funny Bunny peeking in.
The Country Garden Rabbits in spring plaid are
by American artist Mary Lisa Chesnutt for Dept. 66.
They hopped into my rabbit hutch in the 1990s.

The bunny eggs are by Two's Company.
I filled them with yogurt pretzels with sprinkles.

The cereal bowls are by Coco + Lola.

The MacKenzie-Childs Honey Bunny, delivered
Henrietta's Honey, to sweeten the leaping bunny biscuits.

Spring green bamboo flatware is by Caspari.

La Rochere Napoleon Bee stems
are filled with orange juice.

Love these little garden details for the table.

The girls couldn't join me here,
so the bunny eggs and other Easter treats
will be delivered to them before they are off
to spend the weekend with their Granny.

Hoppy Easter
from Auntie Sarah!
