If you hopped over from my friend, Cecelia @
My Thrift Store Addiction, I know you are feeling inspired.
Cecilia always has fun vintage or thrifty finds to share, and her holiday projects using upcycled thrifty finds is a perfect example.

This is the 3rd year of the
Cozy At Christmas Blog Hop
Thank you to Katie @ Let's Add Sprinkles
for organizing this hop each year.

You can read my previous Cozy At Christmas
posts here and here.

Cozy, the adjective
enjoying or affording warmth and ease
marked by or providing contentment or comfort

Each Christmas our tree is decorated with lots of
Courtly Check and Tartan.

A look around our home this time of year,
yields a touch of tartan scattered about.

It's almost December and time to start thinking about Christmas.
Have you begun your holiday decorating?  How do you create a feeling of coziness during the holidays?
I'd love to hear your ideas.

Sadie and I hope you enjoyed our little parade of
Cozy Christmas Tartan
Perhaps a photo or two has inspired you to add a touch of
tartan to your own cozy holiday home?

Next up is Amber @ Follow the Yellow Brick Home.
Amber has a natural flair for designing cozy spaces

The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

  1. Sarah, I always enjoy a parade of cozy tartan! I love seeing your curated collections, no matter what the season and I have tartan napkin ring envy whenever I see them. '-) Sweet Sadie with her tartan collar is the perfect ending to your parade. I’m ready to add some cozy touches for December but had a prelit Christmas tree malfunction so I’m off to a slow-ho-ho start.♥

  3. I love all your tartan and CC, Sarah, and of course, your sweet picture of Sadie. I LOVE the pillow with the buttons and spool of thread as the tree holder.
I'm so enjoying the gingerbread, and shared a cottage of it with Cissy, my granddaughter, just yesterday. She loved it, too!

  22. Oh dear, Sarah, we could be sisters! We have so many things in common in our leanings for collections! Just catching up on unread posts after decorating most of this past week, I have several of the same items gathered and showcased in my holiday vignettes. I love all the tartans, silver and MKC items, needlepoints too. It's such a wonderful time to layer with abandon, inside and outside as well. I enjoyed your way of making cozy for Christmas!
