Today I'm packing away the Christmas decor until next year. It's been fun sharing holiday traditions and decorations with each of you this past month and reading about each of yours. Great idea, Beverly! Thank you for stopping in. I always appreciate your visits and your kind comments are like thoughtful gifts. Click here to drift back to Beverly's for more pinkness on this first Pink Saturday of 2010.

The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

Happy Pink Saturday Sarah..
ReplyDeleteLove the post. The snowman is so precious and I love the pink ball that he is holding. So very cute.
He is quite dapper in his top hat. I love snowman too, and I have never seen one as cute as this with his little collar and all. Just beautiful.
Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and let me share my Pink Post with you. Country hugs, Sherry
That snowman is just adorable. Happy New Year and Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Tricia
What a pinkalicious snowman...he's too sweet for words! However, I loved the words you typed in your Happy New Year post below, Sarah. Very eloquent & touching & so beautifully expressed. May I just say "Mega Ditto" to it all!
ReplyDeletefondly,

What a lovely little snowman with pink accents! I'd have trouble putting him away just yet. Love the reflections in the pink bulb he's holding. Happy Pink Saturday! I shared Pretty PINK Flowers from Sunny Southern California this morning to brighten your day. Enjoy ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Hugs and blessings,
Happy Pink Saturday, your snowman is "adorable". Packing up Christmas sometimes is hard. But afterwards I'm always glad to have the house back in order and sparkling clean. Always seems so much larger..lol.. hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteLove the snowman. I am a fan of snowman that are sparkly and glittery. I am going to have to add more of them to my collection. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I totally love that snowman. I was putting stuff away and I couldn't bear to put all my snowman stuff away so I made a little village in the bay window behind my sink! I saw your blog name on another blog and was intriqued. I am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteCute snowman! How come it isn't as much fun to put the decorations away as it was to put them up? Happy New Year and Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super cute lil' snowman!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I really should join in on Pink Saturday, I have an awful lot of pink!
Hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend. :-)

Thanks so much for your visit. . . YOUR blog is wonderful! I just spent several minutes reading many of your posts....you do a lovely job with photos and text!
ReplyDeleteI love your snowman with the PINK ball. My Christmas deco. is still up in all of its glory, cuz I didn't get it displayed until late. However, I must start the task of putting it away very soon. I do think I will leave a few snow related items out for awhile....since we are buried in snow from our Christmas Eve Blizzard...and are right now receiving our third snowfall since the 24th! (We live in the KC, MO area).
Anyway, I wish you a very Happy Pink Sat. and a wonderful New Year. Keep up your great blog!
Dana
