The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

  1. I've seen photos transformed by this iPhone app on a few blogs, lately, and I'm so impressed! It turns a lovely photo into a work of art. Each and every one of yours would look beautiful framed or made into a card, Sarah. I don't have an iPhone but I'll see if I can download this app on my iPad and play with it :)

  46. Sarah, these are stunning. You did a marvelous job. They truly look like masterpieces.

I have played with mine a couple of times this week, but I have been so crazy I haven't had any spare time. I am heading off to bed now. Exhausted.

Glad you liked Downton. It really was fun. I had to cobble an outfit together, but it worked. God is good and had mercy on me!
