Let It Snow

Time to bundle up in Paris! With temperatures plummeting to record lows, Paris is a winter wonderland covered with snow just in time for Cuisine Kathleen's Winter Wonderland Party.

Here in Texas we don't often experience snow, so we have make our own winter wonderland. Come on in and join the fun.

Fresh new fallen snow has drifted

in and blanketed our little forrest of trees.

Rooftops are capped

in soft pillows of snow.

Little snow-girls are

dressed in their party best.

Others have arrived with glistening

gowns and orbs of pink delight.

Bells ring of

the sheer joy of it all.

While snow-people

are popping out everywhere!

Star struck and

full of wonderment.

Each and everyone gather

for the fun and festivities . . .

Among trees

that glisten with snow.

So put on your snowsuit and

come join the snow-people here at HFTS.

There are sweet

treats for everyone!

  32. Wouldn't it be fun if we could all take home tours rather than just see pictures. I would love to tour your home. It has such a magic quality about it. Your little snow people are incredible. They look like they could just come to life. Such pretty vignettes you have created.

I consider you one of my dear friends too. I was so touched by your comments. Thanks for being a great girlfriend. Girlfriends make life magical!

  35. Just adorable snow people - your home looks very inviting Sarah. Here we have snow again this morning - everywhere white but sleet on top now making driving treacherous and closing schools etc. We are stuck inside and wondering if we can leave on a planned journey tomorrow........oh the glory of the holiday season dressed in white, and the misery of frozen precipitation making traveling difficult!

Happiest of holidays to you and yours dear Sarah - we send blessings and good wishes.

  39. How lovely! I especially love (want, envy, drool over) those little hand-moulded snow people (clay or papier mache?) as per Somerset Studio - ALWAYS wanted some of those!

I'm totally with you on the songs - I put a Mixpod on my blog (only plays if you click on it, so you don't get blasted with sound or a slowed screen) and I'm pretty sure I have that one on it. Plus a very wintry background which matches the view outside the windows as I type (11.16 Saturday morning in the UK) where it's now snowing HARD. You wouldn't believe how unusual that is, lol (all rail services etc in total collapse, it's so unusual).

    Happy Pink Saturday!
