Q is for Quice tea, Quimper, Quiche, Quilt, Quarry, and Quackers

is for

Quince tea

served in vintage Quimper,

with a delicious quiche

while snuggled under a favorite quilt

reading Q is for Quarry,
one of Sue Grafton's alphabet murder mysteries.

Oh, and the quackers . . .
they are outside enjoying the beautiful day.

Thanks for joining me today
in my quest for a quiet retreat.

Sarah

The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

  13. Sara, you delighted me by finding so many "Q" things! What fun.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. To answer your question- Those are spice jars. Each one has a different label on them, cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg and ginger.
They each have the most darling little lids. I usually have them on my dressing table upstairs. But I wanted to have something to put flowers in, so.... down they came and became part of the tablescape.
So nice to stop by and visit!
