Evening Sky at Sunset
Pink sky at morning,
Sailors take warning.
Pink sky at night,
Sailors' delight!
Wishing each of you pink skies tonight.
Thanks for joining me for Pink Saturday. Last week Teresa of Gardening with Soule was a new participant. Click here to check out her blog. She shares amazing photos. Then click here for more pinkness @ Beverly's How Sweet the Sound.

Hi Sarah!
ReplyDeletewhat a great shot of that beautiful pink sky!!
Sarah, Thanks so much for your kind words about my blog and photos. I really appreciate your warm welcome. I can't believe it but when I went to post this weeks Pink Saturday I almost chose the quote in your header before I visited you. Great minds think alike I guess. I am looking forward to reading your blog and visiting many of the others in Pink Saturday. You are all a great bunch of pink lovers that I am looking forward to getting to know. Thanks again! PS I am adding you to my blog roll if that is ok with you.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny that you posted this because everytime I see a pink sky...morning or night...that is the first thing that comes to mind and I always recite that verse!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday xOxO Nerina
What a beautiful sunset!...Christine
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene, Sarah! Funny, how I grew up, learning it as "Red sky in the morning....." LOL Must be a regional thing.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have thought to link my pink flower photos to Beverly's Pink Sat. meme. I don't seem to think ahead each week to let her know. Wish she did Mr. Linky instead. :( Now I'm too late. Oh well....enjoying your photos this morning.
fondly,
Rett
This is a beautiful and eloquent post Sarah-so calming and very very beautiful...I always feel calm and relaxed when I come to visit you!
ReplyDeleteI loved your pretty pink tablescape too! You are so artistic.
I just wanted to thank you also for visiting today and for your lovely comment-it really meant a lot to me.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes,
Natasha.

What a gorgeous photo Sarah. And that verse goes through my head whenever I see a glorious sunrise or sunset (but we say red) Have a great weekend. Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! What a pleasure stopping in here. I have been looking for something to read and your recommendation sounds like just the book(s) I would enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYour tablescape is striking. I love the black and white check and you always use it so well. It is beautifully presented.
Finally, what a gorgeous sky! Happy Pink Saturday.

Sarah, this is one of my favorite sayings... particularly living near the water, I'm always on the lookout for night skies that glow pink and red!
