The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

  1. What a fun package!
I loved your Paris blues. Blue has always been my favourite colour. I remember being shocked, at about 12 years of age, when a teacher told me that blue was 'a cold colour'. Not to me!

When she was a little girl she wore it in braids almost every day and still does the French braid often for work days. Those pictures of the street signs are making me long for Paris. I haven't been for many years. And I love the piece of pottery. Ooh la la ! Linda

  58. Sarah, now I want to paint my door that French blue color! Those are all beautiful, and of course, I love the French pottery you showed. I'm pinning that first set of French doors. I'm trying to imagine what my house would look like with a door that color. I'm not sure I have a good enough imagination, but I sure am loving that color. laurie
