Valentine's Day

is just two weeks away.

Do you have something

special in mind for your valentine?

Perhaps you plan to

bake your valentine's favorite pie.

Or spend some time

The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

  5. I love your Mary Engelbreit tins...We used to have one of her shops here in Atlanta and they had the best stuff.
She was coming into town one weekend to do a signing at the store...I bought this fabulous print of two children playing by the ocean that I wanted her to sign. I waited out in the heat for over 2 hours only to have the manager come out to say she wouldn't be signing any more stuff....Her 2 hours were up....I was very disappointed to say the least....

  30. We are going to do a little appetizer and dessert party around 9:00 with some friends who are all taking a religion class together (we don't want to miss the class because it is so great - even for Valentine's Day) and my kids want me to make them the Chinese Hot Pots for a couples dinner. We are still working out the details! Fun seeing lots of your cute decorating items. We are just getting some put up.
