The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

    Sarah, you always inspire with anything you do. We are in sync with red, white and blue anytime of the year, but especially in summer. You have such beautiful collections of china and put them all together wonderfully. They are all my favorites..Have a great week..xxoJudy

    Hello sweet friend, I am sorry I'm late to the red, white and blue party. Such lovely inspiration for decorating for the Fourth, which will be here before we know it. I love the little birds and the Fourth of July dish stack. I almost ordered the America the Beautiful decoration, now I wish I had. I'm going to visit each of these posts so I didn't miss anything. My sister and BIL came for the weekend, it's been 18 months so we had a lot of catching up to do! Happy June Sarah.....

    Great displays of your so many dishes - where do you store them all? I love the red plastic silverware - perfect for picnics! I love this color combo and use it all summer!

    Sarah, I love all of your RWB tablesettings but I guess my favorite is the Bird of Freedom, #2, I think in your line up. But I am amazed with all of the different china patterns you have (I can't buy any more, my cupboards are full!). I somehow acquired a china fetish as I got older and many pieces have been given to me by my MIL, so my cupboards and small china hutch are full. No cute fish plates like yours, though... Might search those out! ;)'
