Whooo ~ Whooo
Whooo's ready for Halloween?
Welcome, friends! ~ Are you ready for a
I love autumn and often like to set a non-traditional
Halloween table that can take me through the
autumn season without screaming Halloween.
Cast a Festive Spell Among Falling Leaves

In October 2021, I decided to have
a little whimsical fun.
If you follow along here, you know the love
we felt for our sweet Sadie Mercedes.
We lost her last October 28, 2023.
I'm reposting this table in her honor.
This group of tricksters were in clearance at Tuesday Morning
one year, and the whimsy touched my dog loving heart
and had me adding them into my cart.
Along with these cute salt and peppers, that were a gift,
an idea was sparked for a whimsical
Halloween table for Sadie.
I gathered up Sadie's stash of Halloween
toys to grab her interest.
I filled her doggie bowl with yummy treats!
I created a table runner with this cute
Halloween doggie tricksters kitchen towel and
elevated her bowl with a stack of fun dishes from the cupboard.
With everything atop a classic
orange and black buffalo check tablecloth,
Sadie had her own
Halloween Treat Table.
Our sweet Sadie jumped right up
and went straight for the treats.
No spooking this girl!
Thank you for joining me today as
I look back with thoughts of Sadie.
I hope this silly, whimsical idea brought a little smile.
These little doggies are just
Too Cute to Spook!
Wishing everyone a
Whimsical Happy Halloween!
Sarah
The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

Oh Sarah, it's so important to look back at our lost loves and celebrate them and Sadie would have loved this table as much as I do! It's so clever, pretty and yes, delightfully fun. I love your little dogs decked out in Halloween finery and so many cute details. You always do such a lovely job. Sending an extra smile and thought of Sadie today.
