With the arrival of spring,
I've been playing in the dirt
rather than the dishes.
Not much time for setting tables when
a springtime garden needs attention.
When I popped into my favorite
Anthropologie right before Easter,
a garden of spring dishes immediately caught my eye.
Yes, Anthropologie is "Serving Up Spring!"

So colorful and cheerful! Look at those elephant creamers! I have pigs and cows, but elephants, what fun!
ReplyDeleteJust posted it on FB.
ReplyDeleteAdded it to tonight's post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance, Sarah!
Oh, these dishes just made me sigh...I love them all! And the elephant napkins. Lately I have been enjoying the "unexpected" with my tables. These would be perfect. The Gardener's Book lying on the table looks interesting...did you have a chance to peek in it?
ReplyDeleteWe don't have an Anthro nearby, thankfully. We are a dangerous pair! Thank you so much for a wonderful giveaway!
XO,
Jane
Cute dishes, Sarah.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say the 'ele' napkins would be a spectacular addition to my table, springtime, anytime!! I Iove those beautiful animals.
ReplyDeleteI'm one happy bunny though because soon I will not have to travel 1/2 hr. to Durham to visit Anthropologie……..they are in the middle of fitting out a beautiful shop just two minutes from my house……and my g-daughter Jasmin is hoping to get a part time job there! It will be hard to stay out of the store - they have such adorable things.
Thanks for showing us these lovely dishes etc. Sarah…..I would appreciate being added to the exciting drawing for the generous gift.
Sending hugs as always - Mary x
I love Anthropologie!
ReplyDeleteVery cute dishes. So cheery and fun! Great idea for a spring feature.
What a nice giveaway.
I will be posting on facebook.
ReplyDeleteThose are just adorable! I love Anthropologie...the cute aprons, great reads, dresses...I could go on! Posting on my Pinterest board. Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteWhata a generous giveaway, Sarah! Some lucky winner will have so much fun picking up some happy Spring time dishes at Anthropologie. xo
ReplyDeleteDearest Sarah,
ReplyDeleteYou do show some very lovely pieces for use during the spring, especially nice for outdoor settings.
Hugs,
Mariette
I would love decorating my table with those beautiful dishes.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these treasures from Anthropologie Sarah. I love to shop Anthropologie! It's such a colorful store. Thanks for generous giveaway. xo
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to get into my garden to clean, arrange then set out my dishes on my bistro table. Oh Sarah, HOW LOVELY and happy are these designs! Enjoy every dirty encounter out there! I want to trim my boxwoods so badly; this year, they suffered a lot of damage, and that's a first in 18 years. HAVE FUN and thank you so much for your birthday wishes! I had a fantastic day! Love to you, Anita
ReplyDeleteOh, Sarah - this lovely post almost makes me want to run out of my house and work in the garden! Well, almost... It seems to always be too hot here - lol!! I do love those plates and the elephant creamers are too adorable. Thanks for sharing - I do love Anthropologie and, if I won, it would be a great excuse for an Atlanta shopping trip (as if I need an excuse!!).
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, what a wonderful and springtime inspiration. The dishes are gorgeous and those sweet colorful cow creamers are darling. Love Anthropologie.
ReplyDeleteI have been really enjoying being in our Texas garden once again. Best time of the year. Your giveaway is very generous~
Happy Thursday!!
XO
Sarah, you know how I too love Anthro. I visited the shop in Atlanta before Easter and wished I had room in my china cabinet for all those lovely dishes. Knowing all the work you've put into your garden I'm sure it will be lovely. I'll add you to my sidebar.
ReplyDeleteHugs sweet friend...........
Emily
I love the water lillies.. so watercolorish..and the shapes of the plates..
ReplyDeleteWhat a great table..I love that store..must admit.. we have 1 in Mtl..quite far..I have been only once to buy a gift for a friend..and I don't think she liked it:( Remember the egg crates? when they first came out?
Love your garden tools..unlike anyone elses..
We're in the garden too..the messy Spring clean up..
But still..:)
Oh- Sign me up, Sarah. I am smitten with all those Spring dishes. We still do not have ANY thing growing or blooming here. So, maybe I can buy some blooming dishes!;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day, Sarah. xo Diana

Beautiful dishes and linens.
ReplyDeleteI just checked to see where the closest one to me is...not very far from where I do my thrift store shopping...I will be checking out their dishes and linens next week when I am up in the city. I had no idea there was a store so close.
Have a wonderful week, Sarah!
How FUN!! I want to go shopping with you, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI have a SIL who collects elephants but only ones with their trunks held high...those are supposed to be good luck. I bet she would ♥ one of those creamers. Thanks for the idea!
fondly,
Rett
oooops...forgot to say that I put a link to this post up on my blog's sidebar. I borrowed your beautiful hyacinth header for the photo...hope you don't mind. I wish you could see all my hyacinths blooming & I just bought 4 more PINK ones this morning & have them planted already. Smells like Heaven when you come up the front walk!!!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love Anthropologie.... I could spend forever in the store. So lucky to have one now in our area. Would love to win. It would be an early birthday gift to me!

ReplyDeleteThe colors and the patterns of these dishes are amazing!
Enjoy your weekend in the garden my friend.
FABBY
I love the dishes, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI've been digging in the dirt too Sarah and my aching back and allergy eyes and nose are protesting! A trip to Anthro is long overdue, especially since they're serving up spring! Dish gardening is my favorite kind of gardening and doesn't require Zyrtec this time of year :) Thanks for the chance to win and generous giveaway ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, Pinned and shared on FB! ♥
ReplyDeleteHello Springtime - sure would love the dishes in yellow. Daffodils are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteShared on FB!
ReplyDeleteThat garden of dishes grows very well!
ReplyDeletexo
After the Polar Vortex these plates delight and my me hope of spring!
ReplyDeleteAnthro has such fun things don't they? I have been out gardening too - today I was painting the wrought iron railing - my hands, face, feet and even my hair was black - it was a bit windy. Hope I can get it out of my hair! But I am glad I figured out how to do it and didn't have to hire a painter!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to an Anthropologie store (can you believe it?), but I've heard they have really neat things. I love different kinds of creamers, so it would be fun to have an elephant one.
ReplyDeletekellam.susan@yahoo.com
I love browsing at Anthropologie. They always provide me with inspiration, thanks for sharing their spring bounty!
ReplyDeleteKaree
I am so glad that there is not an Anthropologie store in Ventura. It is one of my all time favorites.
ReplyDeleteI love those yellow and red bowls and how fun are the elephants. They remind me that I had an elephant collection years ago.
Hi Sarah..not a single Anthropology store anywhere around here. My daughter loves that store and I have never been in one! I hear they are a great place to find neat stuff!
ReplyDeleteWish we had one!!
What a great store for inspiration. I love shopping in stores that are all ready for spring.
ReplyDeleteThose little elephant creamers are so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say that the royal blue and aqua birdhouse in the first image completely captured my heart!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a generous giveaway Sarah and I thank you for the opportunity. May you be blessed 10 fold.
Beautiful and fun dishes, Sarah! Love all of them!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love all those dishes! Not that I need anymore...but a girl can look! So cheerful and colorful for spring! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bloomers
Sarah,
ReplyDeleteI love Anthropologie, but the store in my local mall closed so visiting one is a bit more of a journey - BUT if I won I'd make the journey! since I don't go there that often, it's so fun to see it through your lens.
- Alma, The Tablescaper
I love the dishes! And the elephant is too cute!
