Sarah
The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

ReplyDeleteI laughed when I read you were having lamb. When my girls were young, Grandma used to bring a lamb chop for our eldest daughter, Peggy, who didn't like turkey. After all, what are grandparents for, if not to spoil the grandchildren?
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteHappy thanksgiving to you too!

This table is beautifully set, Sarah~ Love the woodland theme w/browns and gold. I just put up a tree yesterday with that color scheme. Ya know, sometimes it's good to go non-traditional for a menu. Nothing wrong with that. I think I would even like an Italian feast! hmmmm......
ReplyDelete:-) Sue
