The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

Beautiful photos Sarah. We were thinking of trekking down to Lady Bird Lake this weekend to take some photos of the blooming trees. But I think we might wait until sxsw is over. It's so nice to see everything in bloom again. There is nothing prettier than spring in Central Texas. I hope we have a good wildflower show this year! Kat

Spring has definitely sprung......and it was a whopping 90 degrees here today, more like mid-Summer!
ReplyDeleteToday the wisteria opened its purple flowers in the heat - I was shocked as yesterday the buds were tightly closed with just a peep of green foliage.
