Join me in celebrating the patriotic colors of the USA in honor of the 4th of July. I'm joining Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life to share some patriotic tabletop settings for Tabletop Tuesday and Joan @ Anything Goes Here for her 4th of July Vintage Holiday Blog Party. Not everything is vintage, but it's all for the red, white, and blue. Each year I like to do something different, so some of the photos are from this summer's tabletops and others are from years past.
Sarah
The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

Sarah, what wonderful red, white & blue you have, and it is all displayed so beautifully! Love that patriotic candle tree and the way you have the little patriotic ornaments hanging on it. And U.S. driving a car is too cute. Is that a tin with Betsy Ross on it? So cute. But the piece de resistance is the whirly gig with Uncle Sam & the Statute of Liberty (is that what it's called?). You have the BEST patriotic decor. Of course, I have some of the best, since you sent me some of yours! laurie
ReplyDeleteYou must have the best collection of red, white and blue anywhere. I love that little tree - I'll bet it has pride of place in your July 4th decor!
