The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

This is such a great post it is certainly something to be shared and appreciated now and again, I particularly enjoy the watercolour effect of the images. Patriotism, not to be confused with nationalism, is certainly a wonderful ideal to promote.

ReplyDeleteMaggie put today a link to this fabulous post of yours. I love the water colour effect! My App store informed that Waterlogue is available only for mobile and ipad. False or true? I use a Mac computer and would love to find the way to download it. Can you help?
