A piece of cherry pie would be most welcome and most appropriate, thank you!
ReplyDeleteLovely table this evening - love the red and black.
I'm still bummed over the demise of Mary's Home Companion magazine - I've kept every issue and I treasure them! -diane
ReplyDeleteYour dishes are very cute! I love your toast rack, I have one but always forget to use it! lol! The pie looks scrumptious!!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Love this one!! It's perfect for today, and it would be pretty the other 364 days a year too.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe you got such a great GW find, I'm a huge fan of that bold black check that you used with it.
I just love your style, Sarah.
Wow, Sarah! What a beautiful tablescape...and a GW find, too! They were waiting for you to find them! Lovely! My mom loved Mary E so her things always remind me of her! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteYour cherry tablescape put me in a cheery mood this Monday morning! What an adorable mix of cherries and plaid dinner and serveware. You grounded it beautifully with the black and white checks and those vintage items were gorgeous. Thank you for setting a cheerful mood to the beginning of my week.
Fondly,
Pat
Of course you know that I am all about this post! How A*D*O*R*A*B*L*E :D I like everything about the table. The cherries, courtly check, the mother of pearl flatware....I love it all! How much fun! The cherry pie looks delish, too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
xoxoxo,
Ricki Jill

ReplyDeleteI'm crazy about this table Sarah, and so jealous that you got all of those dishes at such a fantastic price!
ReplyDeleteA delightful cheery table setting for a special day.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing bargain your ME dishes are, they go so well with the black & white & plaid dishes.
Hi Sarah, oh, my! What time is lunch? I love your tablescape and think that you are very fortunate to have gotten those dishes for .99 each. You scored and then pulled it all together for us. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, friend!
Kathy
What a fabulous Mary Inspired table setting.
ReplyDeleteI never knew I had a deprived childhood but until recently I never knew such a thing as a toast rack existed. What else have I missed? (Ginko shaped silverware?)
LOL...oh Sarah! You have made my morning. I'm scrolling down your adorable post and I just burst out laughing when I see the Cherry Pie in the empty bowl...Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI started looking at your Cherry dishes that we thought we had alike but as it turns out yours have more details than the set I have. It's strange that they would make the slight change in details. Yours have the little red wavy edge with the black dots and your salad plate is completely covered with cherries. Mine is white in the center with a single cherry. I think I like yours better but I'm still happy to have mine. I think it's fabulous how you've paired them with the red/green plaid, too. You're so creative! And such an awesome story teller.
If only you were just down the street I'd pop over for just some toast at your beautiful table setting...lol.
Thanks so much for sharing with us all on ME Monday.
Now I need to go find a Cherry bowl for my morning cereal.
