Weighing in on
Love
We have an old Italian scale that
occasionally receives a seasonal touch.
~ Golden Pears @ Christmas ~
~ Hearts for February ~
One tray holds a favorite wooden
bowl filled with faience heart shaped secouettes.
The other tray holds
more heart treasures.
A pansy is the symbol for loving thoughts.
These little French secouettes were
often given as a token of love or friendship.
Aus Liebe

With Love
Each of my small copper hearts
were gifts from my husband early in our marriage.
"There is nothing more beautiful
on earth than to be loved by you."
Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have a very similar scale and really need to make a better plan for showcasing sweet lovelies on it!
These hearts are just precious!

Hi again, Sarah - I'm working backwards! For some reason, Blogger didn't let me know that you'd posted your two most recent posts. I saw them show up on someone else's sidebar. Most annoying! I'm glad I got to catch up. I have a heart with 'aus liebe' and at least one little German wax heart. Such treasures!
