Tea on Tuesday Celebrating Autumn

Tea on Tuesdays
It finally feels like autumn
here in Austin, and I'm celebrating!

Always honored to be included for
~ Pam and Mary's Tea on Tuesdays ~
Thank you, friends!

Texas, like much of the country, suffered an
unrelenting heat dome June through September.
I'm happy to say, that we are finally welcoming somewhat cooler temps, and I've set a special teatime tray for us outdoors to celebrate.

It's pleasantly cool, so come join me in
this comfy corner of the garden.

The adorable Coral and Tusk Orchard pillow is new this season.
Always looking to add a touch of whimsy, this clever pocket
pillow with animal friends picking fresh fruit
seemed the perfect nod to autumn.

We have lots of teatime treats!

Help yourself to an orange cranberry tea scone
or a pumpkin spice Madeleine.

Both are delicious choices
and not too sweet.

I saw these petit fours at a local bakery and couldn't resist.
Trust me, they are delicious!  Have one or two or three!

They are the perfect sweet bite with a cup of
Hot Cinnamon Sunset from Harney and Sons.

I like to add a slice of lemon to my tea,
but you might prefer a lump or two of sugar.

A blogging friend, Donna @ Conghaile Cottage
introduced me to this transfer ware many years ago.
The pattern is Furnivals, Brown Quail, made in England.
I find the pattern charming for fall.
Note the acorn finial!

The design dates back to 1921.
The fat, fluffy quail delight!

I ordered this set of Bauble Stockings the day these new
Mignonne Gavigan designs premiered.
I selected the Quintessential Quail and the Butterfly Beauties.

I like to use my Bauble Stockings at the table to hold flatware,
or in this case, on my teatime tray.

Wishing each of you
a pleasant autumn season!

  3. Ahh, Sarah, yet more collectibles you're sharing today. I am continuously in awe of your selections, and the Furnival Brown Quail transferware and Bauble stockings are beautiful additions, as is that adorable pocket pillow. It seems such a shame your garden was basically a hothouse from June through September, but I suppose it makes it all that much sweeter to have these October days to enjoy. Happy Tuesday Tea Time!
