πππ Autumn Leaves On A Trayπππ
MacKenzie-Childs' new Royal Toile pumpkin tops the tray along
with one of my favorite estate sale pieces from years ago,
a sterling squirrel bank that I enjoy adding to fall vignettes.
All the velvet pumpkins are from Hot Skwash.
The second level features another MacKenzie-Childs pumpkin that has been part of my pumpkin patch since the Flower Market pumpkins were introduced several years ago. I like the mini size.
You might notice our fall leaves here in Austin
are crispy brown this year.
I had the lowest shelf styled as seen above, but with the arrival of the mini checkered pumpkin, a gift with purchase at MacKenzie-Childs,
I placed it upon a riser and tucked it in at the back.
I also switched out a vintage pewter piece to add in some fresh flowers using the small Nippon dish that had been my mother-in-laws.
One doesn't have to buy seasonal pieces; use what you have that fits the theme or seasonal colors like the petite Limoges bird box.
A sprinkle of seasonal candy
adds some tasty fun.
The tiered tray anchors the seasonal look,
yet allows room for serving tidbits or sweet bites.
I added in more pumpkins here and there, and some useful pieces
such as this set of green bamboo dessert forks from Vivo Veronica.
The rich brass of the tray and small container
also adds a touch of fall.
Fancy decorated leaf shaped cookies
sit on a small antique Majolica cake stand.
of the brass tray are subtle extensions of the mood
