Hippity ~ Hoppity
Easter is early this year.
Do you have your Easter bonnet ready?
Our days have been beautiful,
and we are enjoying time on the terrace.
Inside, I filled our MacKenzie-Childs Taylor
compote with spring blooms from Trader Joe's.
I'll change it out to something lower for our meal.
I like to bring out our Taylor Ceramics in the spring.
They are the pieces that started my long time passion for the brand.
Plates bought one by one in the 1990s, and added to through
years since, make for happy, whimsical tabletops!
You can see our Taylor used on previous spring tables
I paired the Taylor with our new velvet placemats
and Easter linens from Crown Linen Designs
and the large paper accent eggs from Hester and Cook.
I used the gray velvet with the
yellow knife rest for my chef.
The rabbit knife rests are French faience from Malicorne.
adds a touch of sparkle.
salt and peppers add a touch of whimsy.
The egg salt and peppers were an estate sale
find that a friend in Dallas sent my way.
Individual charcuterie cones from a local restaurant,
Spread, make a colorful appetizer.
This little "happy" was
dropped off by a neighbor.
A bunny sweet treat is from local bakery,
Hayley's Cakes and Cookies.
Best wishes to all
for a colorful spring!

ReplyDeleteSarah, your Easter beauties are a true feast for the eyes. Your patio with the potted plants and the ones inside are so pretty....they are making me smile! I have only one container planted, and I will have to move it inside as we're expecting freezing temperatures this tonight. Your egg-shaped placemats are fun, too!
