These are some wonderful photos, Sarah. As I was scrolling, I was waiting for Pinterest credits! Truly Pinterest-worthy, all of them! Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness what a great collection of pictures! That fence made with bicycles is really neat and the cemetery with blue bonnets is a wonderful photo. Fun post!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful collection of fences, Sarah, love the little donkeys by the gate.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week,
a bientot

Love taking pics of fences..the bicycles..never ever saw a fence of bikes!
ReplyDeleteThe cemetary..wow..looks so different and beautiful in a sea of blue..♥Great pics..love the grass on the gorge potting house.
I enjoyed seeing all the fence photos, Sarah, and especially the fence of bikes...how unusual is that, but so pretty in white! I also loved the fence that was painted with art work...so pretty. Oh, and the little house with the grass on the roof top...Awww so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love your ABC theme going on and I look forward to each week and what you'll think up!
There are some interesting fences, there! Who would have thought to make a fence out of bicycles? Not a fence, but I love the little garden shed with the shaggy grass roof!
ReplyDeleteThe fence of bicycles is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBut, the garden with the boat brought back wonderful memories. When we bought our house, there was an old rowboat in the garden filled with flowers. Unfortunately, over the years, the boat just rotted away. I loved that boat in the garden.
All the photos are splendid, I especially like the first two shots.

Hello Sarah, Thank you for your visit. Thanks also for sharing your photos of all the lovely unique fences. The Indian Creek photo is unique also. It looks so pretty with the blue flowers it looks like a cemetery in a creek. Hope you had a lovely Pink Saturday. Joyous Wishes, Linda
ReplyDeleteSarah, they are all quite charming, but I am in love with photo #2...that red is stunning!
ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteI paused and absorbed each photo, each fence unique, many very powerful emotionally. Sarah I didn't see any photo sources so I believe this is all your delightful photography. Just a suggestion ... turning them into a 14 month calendar for 2016. If you did I'd buy several of them as Christmas gifts. Just a thought.
Thank you for this very beautiful photo essay.

Vera
Hi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteOh my! That cemetery is just gorgeous! Thanks for playing today.
Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!
That bicycle fence is adorable and the one with the garden painted on it is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos that warm my heart. I think my favorites are the black wrought iron---so classic but not practical for one who has dogs! And the old wooden one, now that's feasible!
ReplyDeleteLastly, I LOVE the pic of the old boat. Oh, I bet it holds a lot of great memories! :)

ReplyDeleteSarah - I see you love fences the same way that I love beautiful and unusual doors. I so enjoyed all of the photos and I will be looking at fences in a new way, as I travel. I have always loved the iron ones, but I will pay more attention to the others, now. Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos Sarah. I love the gate with the donks! All are so different and interesting, you certainly have an eye for seeing a great snap. I will have to take notice more of fences.

I adore fences especially if they have any kind of flowers climbing over them. I think they also give character and structure to any space. Fences and gates....they are my favorites.

Thanks sweetie for your visit. Yes, I am elated to have found the pedestal cake stand. I always coveted Susan's in her buffet.
I thought about it just the day before cause I saw hers and who knew I'd be finding one the next day!
Have a great weekend my friend.

Really cute ideas for the garden Sarah! Thanks for joining Home Sweet Home!
ReplyDeleteSarah, you and Nancy did a great job with these photos. Are those Blue Bonnets in the cemetery? I need to paint a flowering mural on our fence, since I seem to have a brown thumb. Isn't the white-painted bicycle fence unique? Any luck on your house sale?
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous! I have always been one to take pictures of fences and gates as well, so really enjoyed this post.
ReplyDeleteSarah, your collections of photos, these and the flags are great. I particularly like the bicycle fence. That would be so cute! I saw one here in CO that was made of skies that was so cheer feel.
