Hi Sarah, First of all, your husband has exquisite taste in flatware. I love it too. And thank you for pointing out the tip about the pretty ribbon on the gourds. The silky ribbon contrasts so nicely with the gourds--I am definitely going to do this. Yum, the menu sounds delicious. This is such a cozy and welcoming table. Linda

I am ready for soups, stews, chili, etc. I think I'm going to make something this weekend along those lines but haven't decided what as of yet. We've got a cold front moving in now and I have to say I'm loving it. I wonder if it's hitting you all to.

I'm visiting from Fresh Cut Friday.
I hope it keeps cooling off for you! It sure has here! Fall is definitely in the air.
Hey there, Sarah! I could use a cup of warm, spicy soup today. It got mighty chilly around these parts overnight, and we are expecting a frost over the weekend. Nothing like what they are getting in Denver or Minnesota or North Dakota, though...thank goodness!!! This is a very pretty setting, and I really love the way you have presented the napkin with the raffia tie and placed on the diagonal. The placemat is really fun, too. I am NOT a crafty person, so I would have to buy them, too! :-) Don't know that I can go all the way to Paris for them, though. Wow...Paris! I really like your metal leaf serving dish, too. Definitely rings of fall!!! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour table is beautiful, Sarah (as always) and the soup looks so tasty! I could devour a piece of that warm foccacia bread, right now. Yumm! Thanks so much for sharing a lovely taste of Fall today and have a wonderful weekend! ~Mary
