The Hug


I've noticed that many around Blogville are still playing in the snow.


Come on in and take your mittens off to warm your hands by the fire.


I'll fix you a cup of hot chocolate.


These cute little snow-people mugs from William Sonoma keep your chocolate steaming hot under the top hat.


You say you are hungry too?


No problem! Look what we have inside the tin.

Mary Engelbreit's frosty tin has been in our home since the 1990s.
Though the bare trees and snow covered evergreen branches
of this winter scene may reflect a cold day . . .



The smiles generated from the three way hug certainly warm my heart.

    Sarah, this is such a cute post, and I am loving every bit of it! Those snow men mugs with the hats are genius. How cute they are! An I love the ME design, too, and all of your cute things. You have the best "goddies" of all! :-)

    Hope you are staying warm. We are having the big chill this morning, and then I drive again this afternoon to go to some things this week. I'm glad to get out, but now I've thrown myself in head first, I fear! LOL!

    Sarah I love the cute snowmen mugs, the beautifully illustrated tin and those adorable cookies! They are a wonderful way to brighten up a cold day.
    We will be getting more snow tomorrow so I know I will enjoy a nice cup of cocoa after I shovel...again! :)

    Did I wish you a happy birthmonth? Hope you had a great month, January girl. These mugs are absolutely over the top. I haven't seen them. Just too adorable for words. I love the tin too. One great thing about winter is that you get to really enjoy sipping hot chocolate.

    Oh Sarah, I Do Love Mary's whimsy and in the late 70s I had a KITCHEN FULL of her treasures...I MUST locate the trunk that holds her so dear and bring her out! LOVE the little sweater on the bunny...OH and I'll have a MUG of the Hot Chocolate...So Sweet of you to think of all us who are buried in white!
