Welcome, friends!
Valentines Day is a mere 19 days away,
and it has been freezing cold here!
Come join me at a special Valentine's Table and
join my friends for a Valentine's Day Tablescape Blog Hop!
We hope we will inspire you to set your own
Valentine's Day Table.
First let's give a big shout out and thank you to our leader,
Rita @ Panoply, the lady who keeps us organized and on track.
We have 18 tabletop stylists joining the hop today.
Links are at the bottom of this post.
I also want to give a shout out to Linda @ Life and Linda
for helping me get my post back online to be published.
Linda is my Fairy Blogmother!!!
Huge thank you, Linda, for getting me back on course with my blog so it would post for today. You are the absolute best!!!!
Whispering Love comes in many forms, and this tablescape is certainly one that touched my own heart.
I was recently part of a "Dish Sister" gathering with a group
of tablescapers who are friends on Instagram.
Long Island, NY and Roxy from Carmel, CA.
heading out early the next morning for shopping at the
Round Top Winter Antique Show.
Is it obvious why this table is whispering love?
White Chargers, Vintage Bordallo Pinheiro
Dinners, MacKenzie-Childs Taylor Patterns
Luncheons, Macenzie-Childs Taylor Patterns
Salads, Mackenzie-Childs Honeymoon Patterns
All atop my favorite Arte Italica ruffled velvet placemats.
The flatware is Champagne and Silver, Vivo Veronika.
Look at Robin's beautiful monogramed linen napkins.
The drink ware is just as gorgeous!
Famille Rose Glass Tumbler, Williams Sonoma
Rialto Borghese White Flute, Arte Italica
Honeymoon Sweet Pea Mug, MacKenzie-Childs
Centerpiece of flowers within a MacKenzie-Childs Taylor Compote flanked by beautiful MKC candlesticks from the Taylor series.
Fortunately I have many of these same cherished dishes, but
I can't tell you how my heart danced with glee dining at Robin's table.
Thank you, Robin for honoring our sisterhood friendship with this
beautifully curated table for our shared visit.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Sarah, What a beautiful Galentine’s table and treat to see all those gorgeous MacKenzie-Childs ceramic dish layers! The compote with floral arrangement flanked by those candlesticks are swoon worthy! Your ‘Dish Sister’ gathering sounds like fun, especially with a trip shopping at Round Top. I hope you have photos to share as I always enjoy shopping virtually with you. I hope you’re staying warm & cozy, we’re thawing out and in the ‘teens this morning. ❄️🩵
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sarah! It is a cold start here with a temperature of 13 degrees! What a beautiful Galentine’s table that Robin set for the Dish Sister gathering. The table is a feast for the eyes with all of Robin’s stunning collections. How fun for you ladies to get together for an overnight stay and then to shop at Round Top the following day. I can just imagine the laughter and fun that all of you enjoyed. I hope you stay warm and cozy this week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSarah, Robin created the perfect Galentines table for you all!! The soft colors of MC are perfect and exactly what you would’ve created at your own home!! Love the fluted edges!! Such a special table!! So many great memories from this weekend. Love you all!! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sarah, I love the idea of your dish sister group. Robin has set a gorgeous table full of Mackenzie Childs dishes. What a fabulous collection she has. I know you also have quite the collection also. The fluted plates are so pretty and those candle holders. The drink ware is stunning. A wonderful Galantines table to celebrate with fellow dish sisters. To top it all over, a sleepover and a planned trip to the Round Top. I know there will be plenty of laughter and memories. Thank you for the shout out Sarah. I was happy to help. We did not want to miss this lovely post. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThat Galentine table is so darned cute. And what a grand time you all had to have had -- good conversation and friendship topped off by gathering at this beautiful table. Happy week and onward!
ReplyDeleteWow, she set such a lovely table with some of my favorite elements! I love seeing how everyone uses their MacKenzie-Childs pieces. Your trip with the Dish Gals must have been a fun time - the group photo is darling.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun gathering! How lovely that you have friends of similar mind. I don’t know anyone with a 250 mile radius who loves setting tables as much as I do. I am a great admirer of your collection of McKenzie Childs. The mug is something I had not seen before, and goes so beautifully with everything else at the table.
ReplyDeleteSarah, Robin's table is stunning and I know you have got to have as many if not more of the same MKC pieces as I look forward to seeing them with each hop and am always in awe. What a wonderful dish sister gathering you must of had and the trip to round top...oh my! Share photos please. Happy Valentine's Day and stay warm and keep the lights on! ❤️🥰❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for including my table in your blog Sarah! It’s quite the honor! I appreciate all the lovely comments! Stay warm and safe! Best, Robin 💗

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table. Thanks for sharing it with us! I need to pay more attention to your group on Instagram, and make sure I'm following Robin and your other friends! Happy Valentine's Day, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteSarah, what a great group of friends who share the love of tablescaping. How fun! It sounds like a very good time. The McK-C table is so elegant as it is whimsical. I immediately becamse attracted to the lovely candlesticks with the swirl candles. It is so perfect together and such an attention piece. The various collection of delicate colored plates are always an artist's dream It is obvious why it is a "whisper" while it has a strong-hold on my heart. The lovely detail of the monogrammed napkin is a special touch. So stunning. I hope you have many more opportunities for great togethers. Great memories.
ReplyDeleteSarah, this truly is a whisper of love. Robin set a beautiful table. All of you fabulous Austin Dish Sisters, have been so wonderful and welcoming! Can’t say thank you enough 😘 - Alma (The Tablescaper)
ReplyDeleteSarah, what a fun event to attend. Sounds like you gals will have an absolutely splendid time antiquing and celebrating Galentine's Day. The table is whimsical with the MacKenzie Childs dishware. The monogrammed napkins are a lovely touch. Hope you all enjoy a wonderful time together. Happy Galentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteSarah! It was wonderful to see the photo of the Dish Sisters! Alma was one of the first Tablescapers I ever started following, I believe she was responsible for my new hobby so many years ago!! Robin set a beautiful table with all of the precious MC. The trip to Round Top sounds like fun!! I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day❤️
ReplyDeleteSarah, what a wonderful table Robin has set for the Dish Sisters! The MKC dish collection, candles, and centerpiece are all gorgeous and the drinkware is exquisite. I can certainly see why your heart was dancing with glee when dining at this beautiful table. How wonderful to have such a sisterhood as you have with your shared passions. I hope you all had a fabulous time and happy Valentine's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great table – I love all the MacKenzie-Child patterns. That must have been so much fun to share with your blogging friends! Thanks for sharing it with us too! It’s great hopping with you. Hope you have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Sarah! I knew you were having company but didn't realize it was to be matters of a girl's heart that you were sharing! How special to join with a group of friends with the same loves of the table, various collections, and antiquing together. I'm sure you're exhausted in the best way. Robin's table is FULL of delights in this crazy snowstorm. The things that strike and appeal to my eyes the most? The floral arrangement, the Famille Rose glassware (those two look like perfect matches), and those twisted tapers. Of course, all of this is outlined by the gorgeous Made in Aurora ceramic collected pieces on the table. It's a candy heart, colorful tablescape. The velvet placemats and whatever she used as the bunched runner really make for a lush setting, and that Vivo Veronika flatware is just beautiful. What a treat! Thank you for sharing this special gathering of galentines!
