Top of the mornin' to you, darling!
Welcome to
When Irish Eyes are Smiling
a blog hop featuring 14 stylists.
for organizing this fun hop and inviting me to join in.
At the end of this post you'll find our "pot of gold" with links
to inspire an Irish celebration of your own.
If you arrived from Rita's @ Panoply,
I know you enjoyed her inspiring setting
featuring the tricolors of the Irish flag.
If your Irish Eyes aren't smiling in the wee morning hours, perhaps a cup of Irish coffee will brighten them up.
The national flag of Ireland is known as the Irish Tricolour.
~ Green ~ White ~ Orange ~
I kept these colors in mind as I set my simple table for two
using the beautiful Provencal, a hand-blocked and hand-dyed cloth
from Just Darviny that reflects the colors of the Irish Tricolor.
I kept the plate stack simple using green and white, andplaced it atop a ruffled placemat from Crown Linen Design.I like to add a placemat to anchor a place setting on a tablecloth.
Chargers ~ Cabbage Green by Bordallo Pinheiro
Salads ~ Finezza Cream by Arte Italica
Clover Plate - Limited Edition by MacKenzie-Childs
Mother of Pearl silverware ~ Antique
The gorgeous embroidered linens are made

Good morning Sadie and Sarah, I would love to help my myself to a shamrock waffle! I have a few of the Dash waffle makers but not the shamrock. It's adorable! You are lucky in life for sure, and your celebration of the green is a feast for my eyes. Happy St. Patrick's day, and I'm looking forward to going to our fabulous parade on Saturday. We have the Irish Heritage Center here, and boy do they celebrate big.
ReplyDeleteSarah....love your table and the waffles look so good. (Love Sadie too) All your St. Patrick's Day accents are perfect for celebrating the wearin' o the green. Dash makes such cute waffle irons, don't they?

Good Morning Sarah, What delicious way to start the day with a shamrock waffle and Irish coffee! Your dish stack is beautiful topped with your MKC clover plate, handsome monogrammed napkin and set on that gorgeous tablecloth! I love your sweet paper boy and accents tucked in your centerpiece. Doggie kisses for sweet Sadie too. As always it’s a treat to hop with you and join you at the table. Happy Thursday ☘️
ReplyDeleteWhat a festive table! I adore the champagne flutes, beautiful color! Did you see the shamrock plates are available again this year? Fabulous table setting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Irish celebration, Irish coffee, mimosas and shamrock waffles! I love your tip on using placemats on tablecloths to anchor the place settings and of course your plate stacks with the MKC shamrock plates on top are perfect! I didn't know Crown Linen Designs was tied to Ukraine, how wonderful they are donating proceeds...the paper accents are so cute, and of course sweet Sadie steals the show! ☘️

Truly, I don't know where to start. Each picture is so choc- full of ideas and beautiful things that I could study each picture for hours. But I guess I do know where to start, at the lovely napkins and your message to support Ukraine. I teared up again, just thinking about this tragic situation. The napkins are just so lovely, too! I will be sure to order something from them! The Mackezie-Childs shamrock salad plates, and especially the Juliska napkin rings are simply gorgeous! I "need" those napkin rings. Thank you for such a delightful post!
ReplyDeleteSadie lucked out with you:)She has the luck of the Irish as you do.T on IG collects waffle makers..They do work sowell.
ReplyDeleteAs beautiful as I anticipated, Sarah! I absolutely love you sharing your refined collections. The MC temptation of those gorgeous shamrock plates still eludes me, but I enjoy them immensely through you (along with the Stewart plaid napkin rings!). I love the CLD embroidery in green, and her commitment to the Ukraine women is noteworthy. Even your food is festive here! I very much enjoy your visual displays. Of course, Sadie is a doll with her green bow, too.
ReplyDeleteTop ‘o the mornin’ to you, Sarah! I’d love to join you at your table. Those paper accents add such darling whimsy! I didn’t know about the Dash shamrock waffle maker! Sadie is an adorable ending to your festive post! ๐☘️๐
ReplyDeleteThe checked shamrock plates, Irish Coffee, Orange mimosa and shamrock waffles are inspired. I suspect there would be a festive soundtrack with this too. How pretty, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteSarah, I am definitely ready for some Irish coffee and shamrock shaped waffles. How darling! I love your elegant plate stack, especially your checkered shamrock salad plate and pearl flatware. It is wonderful that you mentioned the proceeds that go to Ukraine from purchases. It is such lovely linens and beautiful embroidery. The many details that you included like the tartan napkin rings really are charming. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteSarah, great minds think alike. I absolutely love the limited edition of the MKC Shamrock plates. They look fabulous with the Crown Linen Designs checkered placemats. I love that they have a commitment to Ukraine. The Napkin Rings by Stewart Tartan Tuxedo by Juliska are so pretty. How darling are the shamrock waffles. I own several of Dash's little machines. Sadie is always adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant St. Patrick's Day tablescape and beautiful selection of plates, especially the MacKenzie Childs clover ones! How adorable are the shamrock waffles and who can't resist a hot cup of Irish Coffee, one of our favorite after dinner drinks.
ReplyDeleteSarah, what a fabulous way to start the day with a shamrock waffle and Irish butter. The tablecloth makes a beautiful foundation for the CL check placemats and the lovely plate stack. The limited edition MKC shamrock plates are just fabulous. I enjoyed a rather strong Irish Coffee at Temple Bar in Dublin. Thank you for all the eye candy this morning ☘️๐☘️
ReplyDeleteOh you had me at the clover plate and the darling clover waffles! Absolutely adorable! CL has the most beautiful table linens don't you think? I love all their goodies! Such a pretty tablescape. So fun to blog hop with all you ladies!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karin
Sarah, your table setting, food and decorations turned out beautifully! Love it all, but was green with envy when I saw those adorable shamrock-shape waffles. So much so, that I rushed over to Dash and ordered 3 waffle makers (one for me, and one each for my Irish named sons). I never thought of adding orange elements to a St. Paddy's Day setting until seeing them in yours and Rita's tables. Gorgeous stemware! I'm also going to download the images kit for future table favors and card making. You're fueling the economy! Wonderful having you join the holiday hop these past two years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful table you have styled. Love your Darviny cloth, MKC pieces, great plate stack and CL napkins. Your Irish coffee is calling my name and the shamrock waffles with Irish butter and syrup.
ReplyDeleteI am especially fond of the MKC clover plate and your mother of pearl flatware.
Top 'o the mornin' to you, Sarah! ๐ฎ๐ช☘️๐งก
Oh how I would love to sit here and enjoy this "top of the morning" breakfast with you. The setting is just gorgeous and of course the shamrock waffles look delicious! I was so tempted to order the clover plates, they are just so pretty. Of course your attention to every little detail is lovely. Wishing you and Miss Sadie a happy St. Patrick's Day! She's darling with her green bow :)
ReplyDeleteStunning table Sarah. I would love to sit with you and share a waffle. The tablecloth is beautiful along with each layer on your table. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteI adore your your MKC shamrock plates and your gorgeous Ukrainian napkins, just beautiful!! Now it is nine o’clock at night and i suddenly want waffles, and I am not even a coffe drinker - but you have me craving that as well! They look YUMMY!! I hope you have a fun St. Patrick’s Day!☘️๐
ReplyDeleteHappy St Patrick's Day to you and Sadie, Sarah! :) I love your table, and those little waffles are absolutely darling! They sound delicious too. So nice sharing a hop with you - hope the rest of your week is lovely.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I was immediately intrigued by your shamrock waffles. We make waffles or pancakes just about every weekend at our house, but they don't look that cute! I checked out Dash and found that they have heart and bunny waffle makers too. And the price is so reasonable! I just love your breakfast for two table setting. Irish coffee is so good, especially with whipped cream! The plate stack is lovely...I was especially drawn to the tartan napkin rings. The paper cut outs look so vintage and adorable! It was fun to hop with you. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteI do believe that this is the best table setting that I have seen this year, maybe in my entire life! Everything is just perfect! Those shamrock plates are MAGNIFICENT! I also love those vintage cut-outs (I am going to have to look into that digi kit). I love those darling waffles as well. How did I miss that waffle iron?! Thank you for the wonderful eye candy, inspiration, and sources.
