St. Patrick's Day ~ 2016

Welcome to

Cuisine Kathleen's 8th Annual

St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl.

Are you wearing a touch of green,

or are you lucky enough to have green eyes?

These two friends are permanent

sculptures at a local veterinary clinic here in town.

I always smile when I pass by and

see them frolicking together out on the lawn.

At times during the year,

they are decked out to celebrate special holidays.

They are adorable even when not in costume,

but you have to admit the holiday touches are clever.

Sadie's groomer always has a selection of handmade

doggie treats available, and this is the

selection for St. Patrick's Day.

Our Sadie girl will get one of the lucky shamrock treats.

Feeling extremely lucky that this precious girl

came to live with us in March of 2012.

It's your lucky day!

Two special cookies

from the bakery just for you!

These are NOT doggie treats!

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2016!

May the luck of the Irish always be with you!

  12. Love the dog and cat sculptures, Sarah! They are so cute; I'll bet the vet's office has fun decorating them. ;) Your Sadie is adorable. Speaking of groomers, Duncan went to the groomer today and he looks so nice. I have to say, the groomer does a great job with him (though she charges an arm and a leg). I hope Sadie enjoys her special shamrock treats.

Visiting from Cathleen's blog crawl and wishing you a fun and festive St. Patrick's Day!

Maybe I should put a green scarf or hat on my book boy in the garden for the occasion (he sorta looks like he could pass as a leprachaun). :) I'd say your little Sadie is just as lucky as you feel. 27. Another green-eyed gal here, and I am frantically going through my closet for something green. I went through my wardrobe earlier this year and I'm afraid the greens were among the donations to the thrift shop. *sigh* I foresee a St Patrick's Day shopping trip!

  37. Hi Sarah, All the males in my husband's family have green eyes, including our son. We wonder if that had something to do with their surname, Green. We are always "green" for SPD! Your vet office sounds like a nice place to go and the cookies (both human and doggie) look quite festive! Linda
