Spring and Summer are the
perfect times to host a Taco Party.
Pull out your most colorful dishes
and accents that offer a bit of texture.
Mix in some seaside details.
Serve fish tacos
for a light, healthy entrée.
I captured this table setting
at a local Pottery Barn.
Simply couldn't resist sharing these
colorful dishes and fun ideas.
Pottery Barn's Cabo Melmaine outdoor
dishes come in both red and blue.
The designs are taken from earthenware
but made in unbreakable melamine.
In addition to the dinnerware sets,
Pottery Barn also offers several fun
serving pieces, like this set of condiment bowls and tray.
The display table at Pottery Barn
mixed the Cabo pattern with
pieces of PB's Rope Outdoor Collection.
A table runner woven of pure cotton
added vibrant color and texture
perfect for the Mexican theme.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing PB's beautiful table setting, Sarah! Aren't the melamine dishes gorgeous, with such vibrant colors and patterns? I'm going back to click on the link.
ReplyDeleteWhat a festive table...we had tacos for dinner tonight!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Sarah...
I've been resisting walking into Pottery Barn and buying those small glass bowls. I particularly like the green ones. Pottery Barn's design value has consistently elevated for the last five years. Great table. Thanks for taking us to the mall. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteThe order forms for each guest is a brilliant idea! Great... now I have to throw a taco party. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely table and what a great idea to have the order forms! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright and cheerful table for me to see first thing this morning. It is perfect for your taco party. I got tortillas at HEB yesterday for a little TexMex here. You just can't beat it!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting combination of dishes and accessories on this table. I guess that is why we all love PB so much! With Cinco de Mayo coming up, I guess we should all be thinking about tacos and Margaritas, of course - lol!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful table, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love this!! So festive.
ReplyDeleteJocelyn @ http://justalittlesouthernhospitality.blogspot.com/
A taco party sounds fun! Not real expensive, fairly easy to execute...and the colors!!!! Oh, the colors!!!!!!! This is a beautiful setting. I've not been in a PB for quite a while. This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou have done it AGAIN Sarah! Beautiful - just beautiful! Thanks so much for giving us all these free creative ideas that seem to just abound!
ReplyDeleteLove PB and their table settings! So colorful and inviting...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou had me fooled at first! I thought that was YOUR table setting. It's quite pretty with all of the fun bright colors. Pottery Barn always has such nice things. A taco party would be fun. Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table and fun idea, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteSarah, this is beautiful! I love it when my blog friends take me to the mall. I live 30 minutes away from the mall or any good stores!!!! Probably a good thing, but boy, I love a little Pottery Barn Fix! So,thanks for this one!
ReplyDeleteKaren
Beautiful, colorful and so festive!..Christine
ReplyDeleteWe love tacos, but I'm sure they would taste even better at your festive table! Love your bright and cheerful dishes, the runner is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll join Amaze Me Monday this Sunday afternoon!

Such a fun table, and I really like those mirrored flower pots marching down the center. All of my china is starting to look a little dull after seeing this festive table. laurie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and festive! I miss Nashville's PB store. I think it would succeed here now. I just had to come over and visit after seeing you at Laurie's--one of my favorite people! You have a beautiful blog.
ReplyDeleteHow fun, Sarah! Pottery Barn always has such great tablescapes!
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a PB anywhere near us so I always enjoy seeing their ideas in this way. I love those vibrant colours!

ReplyDeleteHugs,

Fish tacos? I LOVE them! What a cute tablescape, and who'd ever know those dishes were melamine? I need to go to PB. Haven't been there since before Easter, and then didn't get a thing. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, I love these patterns from Pottery Barn.I saw a similar table there last weekend. A Taco Party would be fun, but anything on this table would be.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think your new posts are feeding Sarah. Mine quite several new posts ago and seems to be stuck again.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

I can just see you lugging your camera into PB and staging a photo shoot! Thanks, it really is a very creative table. Love the idea of hosting a taco party. YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea. Here in Oklahoma, we have beef or chicken tacos. Not much fish. The table settings look like a fiesta ready to happen.
ReplyDeleteJudy

Sarah,
ReplyDeleteDelightful tablescape, dear friend!!!
"Mr. Ed" and I have been looking at melmaine dinnerwre for the back deck On Crooked Creek. It certainly has taken a more classic appeal since my first set in the 1970's!!!
